My mom surprised me today by telling me that I should put my next three paychecks (which were going to go towards my spinning wheel) towards my credit card bill. I started to argue with her that I was fine with the bill and that it wasn't going to be a problem. And then she laughed and said, "So we shouldn't be buying your spinning wheel for your birthday?"

Depends on the project but usually circs, or DPNs. I would really really really love a new pair of options size 8 nickel plated needles from knit picks, since my last project made me dent the crap out of them. They're still usable, it just makes me a sad snakie to see them so dented :(

Just about every yarn I buy, because I'm a retard like that. I'm overexcitable. Most recently the small ball of 100% silk that I bought, which probably will never be made into anything because I have to find that perfect project for it!!!
16. Favorite HP Movie?
This is always such a difficult debate for me because the movies are NOT the books and I always expect them to be because I'm so stubborn. I think right now it's the third one. Although, when HBP finally comes out, I have a feeling it will solidly take number one (so long as it isn't TOO ruined), because HPB is my favorite book ♥
17. Favorite HP character?
Narcissa, hands down. The ultimate Slytherpuff, she is cunning and ambitious and subtle, and she does what she has to for her family, even if that means risking everything.

Out of the picks that the Slytherins had been voting for? It was a very difficult choice because, ho-god, the hotness XD. My first choice was David Boreanaz ♥ Moody vampire love of my younger teenage years and kickass sexy (special) fbi agent of my college years XD

My favorite Halloween story is from last year. I was home from the school I used to attend (Kutztown University) with friends and we decided to go to Fright Fest at Six Flaggs, NJ (because it's awesome) and they have actors come out at night that walk around the park and scare the guests. Well, one actor dressed as a dead mechanic snuck up on my friend's little sister, who was 14 at the time, and everyone in our group scattered. He chased them for a half an hour and me and one of my friends sat on a bench watching as every few minutes, someone from our group would run by. Eventually, the actor came and sat with us and we made a new friend. His name was Andy and he thought our friends were very funny, because he'd stopped chasing them about twenty minutes ago. Another plus, he was way cute :D

| A very late Chapter 10 explanation |
This is so very late because I was having internet problems all last week and didn't see the assignment til just now.
Like my roommate Rowena has stated in her assignment, I've seen many wonderful assessments of chapter ten, and thus I don't feel the need to be longwinded about my assessment. I feel the main importances of chapter ten is that it is the pivotal chapter in the book. It is where Harry finds out about the Gaunt family and why Voldemort houses such hatred for muggles and muggleborns. Without this chapter, we couldn't find the true root of Voldemort's motives. It's the beginning of his backstory.

I just got a winder (which I love) and my step-dad is helping me make a DIY swift.

I keep my circulars and DPNs in plastic paper protectors in my binder that I keep my patterns in and my straights are in an old empty cookie can that I made a nice little cover for. My hooks are in a drawer in my desk organizer.

Patterns. I horde them :)
5. What is your favorite type of music? Are you MP3 ready?
I have a really eclectic taste in music. Yes, iPods are love!

Dyeing, Beading, scrapbooking (on and off), sewing, graphic design
6. What are your favorite yarns/fibers?
I am practically obsessed with JoSharp Tweeds, they've stolen my heart! The colors are awesome and they look great knit up.
7. What are your LEAST favorite yarns/fibers?
I don't think I have any least favorites.
8. Are there any types/brands of yarn that you are dying to work with but haven’t gotten a chance?
Plenty, but they're all far too expensive for me to even think about right now.
9. What are your favorite types of projects to knit/crochet?
For crochet, it's amigurumi all the way - I'm addicted to those things! As for knitting, I dabble in a lot. I spend more time pattern-hording than I do actually working on my six billion projects. I see a great pattern and I go "OMG I WANT TO MAKE THAT!!" and I go from there.
10. What are you currently working on?
The question is what am I not working on! A Hufflepuff scarf, two bookscarves (Hufflepuff and Slytherin, then a Slytherpuff one), Owls (on-going), a snake, an octopus, a blanket, legwarmers, a sweater for my dog, and a camisole top for myself.
11. Anything you plan to start this autumn?
Only a million and one things :3

Right now it's that adorable little red owl, Thor, which can be found on my Rav page.

- Knit Picks Options Nickel plated needles size 8

- Tea; I love sweet teas like chamomille, earl grey, ginger, etc
- Pens; I like cool pens, I don't know why, I just do. I steal all of the good ones from the office I work at haha!
- ANYTHING DISNEY. Especially Alice in Wonderland (specifically Alice, Mad Hatter, or Cheshire Cat); Beauty and the Beast; Little Mermaid; Sleeping Beauty; Cars; Wall-E; Eeyore or Tigger
- Anything VINTAGE, especially from the 40s and 50s.
- Anything to do with Audrey Hepburn, the woman is my idol!! Breakfast at Tiffany's is quite possibly the best movie ever made!
- Penguins, Elephants, Otters, Badgers, Snakes, and Lions make me happy
- I love patterns. Plaid, polka dots, vintage victorian flowery patterns, stripes, etc
- Imagination sock yarn. [ unicorn, mermaid lagoon, pixie dust ]
- Jewelry. Whether it's handmade, or from a place like Claires. I love to accessorize! I love necklaces with small and large pendants, especially Fleur de lis, Elephants, Birds (Owls, Sparrows), and Skeleton Keys
- Photography. I'm a huuuuuuge fan of photography. I love stock photos.

- Anything cute that has to do with sushi! I collect chopsticks :3
- Anything to do with Pirates! ARRR!!
