1. What are your three most favorite colors?
Green, Yellow, Purple or Teal-ish Blue

Obnoxious orange...I think that's it.


3. Your favorite candy is _________________.
REESES. PEANUT BUTTER. CUPS. Or anything by reeses/anything containing milk chocolate and peanut butter. Or sweedish fish!!!

Draco post-ootp, for the fact that he actually grows a pair and smashes Harry's face in ♥ And because he really isn't a bad guy. (Well, then again, neither was Snape, but he was an asshat) And Narcissa ♥

Both, but I knit more

Mitts/gloves cause I'm a mitts/gloves WHORE!

Cheap and college-budget friendly :3 Also: easy care ♥ And can totes be just as soft as any cashmere.

TEA, I love tea XD; anything to do with disney/alice in wonderland/beauty and the beast/little mermaid; anything to do with the irish/ireland/celtic knots/etc.; something cool from your hometown/state/area!

Pumpkin, apple, vanilla


11. Do you prefer salty or sweet snacks?
Both. Best of both worlds XD

13. Do you really need more stitch markers?
Probably not, but I love collecting them anyway! I'm always making them for other people so I'm always giving them away.


14. Dpns, circular, or straight?
Depends on the project but usually circs, or DPNs. I would really really really love a new pair of options size 8 nickel plated needles from knit picks, since my last project made me dent the crap out of them. They're still usable, it just makes me a sad snakie to see them so dented :(


15. What yarn makes you squee?
Just about every yarn I buy, because I'm a retard like that. I'm overexcitable. Most recently the small ball of 100% silk that I bought, which probably will never be made into anything because I have to find that perfect project for it!!!


16. Favorite HP Movie?
This is always such a difficult debate for me because the movies are NOT the books and I always expect them to be because I'm so stubborn. I think right now it's the third one. Although, when HBP finally comes out, I have a feeling it will solidly take number one (so long as it isn't TOO ruined), because HPB is my favorite book ♥


17. Favorite HP character?
Narcissa, hands down. The ultimate Slytherpuff, she is cunning and ambitious and subtle, and she does what she has to for her family, even if that means risking everything.


18. Who was your first choice for DADA professor?
Out of the picks that the Slytherins had been voting for? It was a very difficult choice because, ho-god, the hotness XD. My first choice was David Boreanaz ♥ Moody vampire love of my younger teenage years and kickass sexy (special) fbi agent of my college years XD


19. What is the Slytherin Common Room called?
The Dungeons to anyone not in it, and the Snake Pit for everyone who is.


20. What makes you worthy of being in Slytherin House?
The fact that I'm awesomesauce. My hardcore ambition, willingness to take advantage of the situation (let's just call it my opportunism ;P), realism, and the gray area that I view the world in and the potential I see.

Slytherin Quiz #006
Even though I did this two weeks ago, here's the quiz again!

Even though this has been cancelled, I'm doing it now so it will be early for next week!

1. What are the three important things in Chapter 13 Harry needs to remember?
1. Riddle hated what made him ordinary, 2. Riddle had no friends, nor did he want any. He was very independent, 3. Riddle collected trinkets that he believed were special, they were like trophies to him

2. What did Merope sell when she was alone in London before the baby was born?
Slytherin's Locket

3. What does Mrs Cole like to drink?
Gin

4. What does Tom Riddle demand Professor Dumbledor do twice when they first met?
That Dumbledore would tell him the truth, and to do some magic.

5. What did Mundungus nick from the Black house?
Mundungus steals Slytherin's locket.

Now that that's out of the way I can finish my Transfiguration essay, and then I'm free to work on the sweater I started! I'm excited about it, because it's my first sweater. It's nothing flashy, just a simple shrug. I found the pattern here. in an old desk drawer. A student must have left it behind. I'm about halfway done the sweater.

My favorite Halloween story is from last year. I was home from the school I used to attend (Kutztown University) with friends and we decided to go to Fright Fest at Six Flaggs, NJ (because it's awesome) and they have actors come out at night that walk around the park and scare the guests. Well, one actor dressed as a dead mechanic snuck up on my friend's little sister, who was 14 at the time, and everyone in our group scattered. He chased them for a half an hour and me and one of my friends sat on a bench watching as every few minutes, someone from our group would run by. Eventually, the actor came and sat with us and we made a new friend. His name was Andy and he thought our friends were very funny, because he'd stopped chasing them about twenty minutes ago. Another plus, he was way cute :D

Quidditch Round Two
A Ravenclaw found the snitch this round, but we're confident we'll have it the next round. After all, we were right on their tail feathers with only 4 people working on our team!

It is absolutely freezing in the dungeons today. I've cast three warming spells, but none of them are helping! I'm sitting in the Common Room by the fire wrapped in a blanket. The hat I started the other day is coming along nicely, but the stitch count in the pattern is wrong, so I don't see the point of the markers I'm using. If it looks like awful when I'm finished then I'll just frog it.

A very late Chapter 10 explanation
This is so very late because I was having internet problems all last week and didn't see the assignment til just now.

Like my roommate Rowena has stated in her assignment, I've seen many wonderful assessments of chapter ten, and thus I don't feel the need to be longwinded about my assessment. I feel the main importances of chapter ten is that it is the pivotal chapter in the book. It is where Harry finds out about the Gaunt family and why Voldemort houses such hatred for muggles and muggleborns. Without this chapter, we couldn't find the true root of Voldemort's motives. It's the beginning of his backstory.

Slytherin Quiz #002
1. Are you a sock knitter?What are your foot measurements?
I want to be, but I haven't had the time to tackle learning how to do it. Er..I range from a 7-9 Womens (in US)

2. Do you have a yarn winder and/or a swift?
I just got a winder (which I love) and my step-dad is helping me make a DIY swift.

3. Where/how to you keep you needles/hooks?
I keep my circulars and DPNs in plastic paper protectors in my binder that I keep my patterns in and my straights are in an old empty cookie can that I made a nice little cover for. My hooks are in a drawer in my desk organizer.

4. Do you collect anything?
Patterns. I horde them :)

5. What is your favorite type of music? Are you MP3 ready?
I have a really eclectic taste in music. Yes, iPods are love!

6. Do you like sweets? What are your favorites?
YES, who doesn't? Chocolate ♥

7. What is your living situation like? Any pets? Children?
I live with my parents with my two dogs, two cats, lots of fish, my siblings and my aunt. We're a big happy family :)

Roommates
We selected roommates today! After the dormitory assignments were posted, I immediately owled my Mother and Father to let them know I was staying with the most wonderful group of girls. I'll be rooming with Rowena Weasley, Argentia Pascal, and Petunia Cronkshank! We're coffee-brewin', chocolate-lovin', slightly crazy, naughty First Years!

We've already settled into our room and I find it quite comfortable. As I write this I'm quite enjoying the decorative state of the room - perfect green and silver hangings and deep cherry woods, as it should be. The four poster beds are larger than I imagined them to be! I'm such a small thing that I fear I'll be swallowed whole in the night! I've hung my silk green scarf my Mother gave to me as a going away present above my headboard to add my own little personal touch. I plan to do much more decorating!

If you feel like coming over for a visit, don't hesitate! Our door is open and we'll lure you in with the delicious scent of coffee.

1. Do you knit and/or crochet?
Yes, both!

2. How long have you been at your craft?
Coming up on a year for knitting and about two months for crochet.

3. Do you spin?
No, but I desperately want to try! I actually just ordered a top whorl drop spindle spinning kit, so we'll see how it goes!

4. What type of spinning do you do (drop spindle or wheel)?
Just ordered a drop spindle (top whorl)

5. Are there any other crafts that you participate in?
Dyeing, Beading, scrapbooking (on and off), sewing, graphic design

6. What are your favorite yarns/fibers?
I am practically obsessed with JoSharp Tweeds, they've stolen my heart! The colors are awesome and they look great knit up.

7. What are your LEAST favorite yarns/fibers?
I don't think I have any least favorites.

8. Are there any types/brands of yarn that you are dying to work with but haven’t gotten a chance?
Plenty, but they're all far too expensive for me to even think about right now.

9. What are your favorite types of projects to knit/crochet?
For crochet, it's amigurumi all the way - I'm addicted to those things! As for knitting, I dabble in a lot. I spend more time pattern-hording than I do actually working on my six billion projects. I see a great pattern and I go "OMG I WANT TO MAKE THAT!!" and I go from there.

10. What are you currently working on?
The question is what am I not working on! A Hufflepuff scarf, two bookscarves (Hufflepuff and Slytherin, then a Slytherpuff one), Owls (on-going), a snake, an octopus, a blanket, legwarmers, a sweater for my dog, and a camisole top for myself.

11. Anything you plan to start this autumn?
Only a million and one things :3

12. What is your favorite Finished Object? (Please, post a picture if you would like.)
Right now it's that adorable little red owl, Thor, which can be found on my Rav page.

13. Are their any knitting/crochet techniques that you would like to learn?
Throw them at me, I'm sure there's still plenty to learn!

Snakes on a plane!
Oh, sorry, my apologies. There's only my pet snake slithering around the Common Room. She's just a mere baby right now, but she's growing quickly! (ie: she's a work in progress, but she will be awesome when I'm finished) My other projects are coming along. I would most likely finish more if I didn't start so many all at once! I was almost finished my two bookmarks, but Peeves stole them from me and unravelled both of them! I'll seek revenge on him later.

I wish I could make it to the Common Room party tonight, but I have a class I can't skip :c I've got such a busy day in front of me. I have to run some errands, go to class, go to work, and go to class until 8:15PM! I spent most of the day at the hospital yesterday because my younger brother hurt his back at football practice. I'm glad it wasn't a cracked rib, just a badly bruised muscle. The day before my puppy decided to eat a whole box of chocolate! We had to rush her to the animal hospital and they made her vomit it all up. They said it was the biggest hunk of chocolate they'd ever seen. She only had half of the toxic dose, though, so she wasn't in danger. She's completely back to normal, and hasn't learned her lesson at all!
