| Swap Package, part 2 |
Ok, now that I've gotten errands out of the way, I finally have time to open my package!!!!!!!! I brought the box down into my dining room for proper lighting. Suzie, my older cat was being nosy (plus she follows me everywhere) and came over to see what I was doing.

When I opened it, I was amazed! Angelina must have used some shrinking charms to fit everything inside!
Look at all of my goodies!!!
The first thing I pulled out of the package was a lovely letter from Angelina telling me what was inside my pacakge and two sock patterns!
Then I unwrapped these gorgeous bamboo needles! Straights AND DPNs!
Next I found these Pumpkin candles from Yankee Candle Co. (which I love) and Oh. My. God. they smell SO good!!!
When I opened the next two packages, I squee'd with delight! Not one, not two, not even three - 4 skeins of yarn!!!!!! The green chunky weight alpaca one feels amazing, like clouds! And the sock yarns are GORGEOUS!
Then I found out I got CANDY!!! I'm a huge sweet tooth, so this is a major plus. I've never heard of the company that made the chocolate bar, but I'm saving the wrapper since it's so pretty! The jellybean nerds are very very tasty, and are actually already gone... I opened up the gummy bears, too, since Hairbo Gold-bears are the BEST gummy bears ever!!!!
Angelina even gave me things for my pets!! I can already say that my dogs are very pleased with the treats and they were happy to steal the toys away from the cats, they were going nuts over the toys while we ate dinner XD. And the cats were happy to play with the scrap yarn from the wrapping and they loved their treats!
And then I was down to one package left to open. It is by far the best part of the package! It's soft and fluffy, and it SMELLS GOOD!! Angelina, did you spray it with perfume? The design is beautiful and the color pattern is amazing!!! It's a beautiful reversible cabled scarf!! I LOVE IT THANK YOU SO MUCH ANGELINA!!!
Suzy decided to play with the scrap yarn and lay on top of everything!

| Spoilee Kit |
I've finally, FINALLY finished that bag. I've actually hat two nightmares about it never getting done. It turned out a little differently than I had planned, but I added a few extra things to make it sparkle. I hope Olive likes it!
I'm really excited about Quidditch on Sunday. I think we'll win this one again. We were so close last time, and with only 4 people on our team!
The swap is drawing to a close and I find myself a little sad. I'll miss this swap, it's the most fun I've had in a while. Plus, getting spoiled is a big plus :P I've made so many new friends! So, when's the next one!? LOL.

| Wonderful! |
Brilliant! I was browsing the shops in Hogsmeade today, and I happened upon the perfect thing to add to my kit for Olive! I also found a few things for myself - a good amount of hand painted roving that I can't wait to arrive by owl post!
I am currently in the process of dying another skein of yarn. This one is in different shades of red. It's being steamed by the house elves in the kitchen as I write this. I'm going to need to find some more dyes in Hogsmeade, or send for some in Diagon Alley, because my stash is dwindling.
ETA: I had a slight scare with the dye project, when I took the pot off of the heat and checked on the yarn it looked like the plastic had melted to the yarn!!! It wasn't though, it was just airtight. Luckily.

An owl arrived today to inform me I will be spoiling the pants off of Olive Bumblebirch of Ravenclaw! I was so excited about the owl that I've already gone straight to work on my kit. I've just sent her an owl to say hello. Time to get back to work!

| That flighty temptress |
Well, I've sent off my student registration slip. Hopefully I've been officially sorted into Slytherin. I'd do just as well in Hufflepuff, but word domination isn't really my thing. Orpheus carried my registration slip with deadly speed at exactly one in the morning las night, so I believe I was one of the first to have mine in. That must count for something.
I've already had the chance to meet some of the older students, and I must say they are quite charming! I can't wait to get settled into the dormitories with them. Orpheus shall return to me later in the weekend, and I will know for sure where I stand then.

I started knitting a bookmark in class today, since I was the first to finish with my Charms test. It's a miniature version of the house scarves, I'm adding fringe and everything! It's about halfway done. Perhaps when I finish, I can persuade the Creevey girl to lend me her camera.
